Nayiri Dance Ensemble
The Nayiri Dance Ensemble is a nonprofit Armenian dance group associated with the Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Society of New Jersey. It was created in 2005 with only a few dancers and has since grown to over 100 passionate members. The group’s ultimate priority is to teach both adults and children the value of Armenian culture through the art of dance.
The ensemble has received several invitations to perform, including one to Armenia and Artsakh where their talented dancers were showcased. They have entertained thousands of people with traditional Armenian dance performed in hand-made dance costumes at the Baronian Hall and the Paradon in Armenia. Their performances were professionally recorded and broadcasted live on Armenian television.
Moreover, the ensemble has had the opportunity to perform alongside famous Armenian artists such as Inga and Anush, Lilit Hovhannisyan, Sirusho, Nersik Ispiryan, Arabo Ispiryan, Sibil, Zulal, Alla Levonyan, Nune Yesayan, and many others.
