Hamazkayin’s Petag is a unique summer Western Armenian immersion for Armenian youth ages 10 – 14, which aims to have fun learning Armenian all through real conversation during interactive workshops, games, mealtime, and play time, all while speaking Armenian! 

Համազգայինի «ՓԵԹԱԿ»ը, Արեւմտահայերէնի Իմացութեան Ամառնային Ճամբար է, որ 10-14 տարեկան հայ մանուկներու համախմբելով կը ձգտի սորվեցնել հայերէնախօսութիւն, խաղի, պարի եւ երգի ծրագրերուն ընդմէջէն:

Location: St Raphaela Retreat Center, Haverford, PA 19083 (30 minutes outside Philadelphia)

Համազգայինի «Փեթակ» ճամբարը արեւմտահայերէնի խորացման 12-օրեայ ծրագիր մըն է, նախատեսուած՝ 10-14 տարեկաններու համար. անոնք պիտի կարենան խաղալ, սորվիլ ու ստեղծագործել հայերէնով։

Hamazkayin’s Petag Western Armenian Immersion program is a 12-day, overnight Western Armenian immersion experience designed to bring young Armenians aged 10-14 together to create, explore, and bring the Armenian language to life. Participants will engage in Armenian language learning while taking part in activities they enjoy including practical workshops led by professionals in a wide variety of fields, sports and outdoor play, arts and crafts, song and dance, and field trips. Fluency in Armenian is not required.

  • Accident Waiver and Liability Release to be sent to registrants upon receipt of registration.
  • Applications will be reviewed and accepted on a rolling basis. Space is limited and registration is on a first come, first served basis.
  • Program cost is $1,200 for first child, $1000 for second child. Cost includes all food, lodging, and all activities.
  • Once your child is accepted an email will be sent to collect payment via Venmo, PayPal, or personal check.
